Marcia Lynn Meininger Erickson, 56, a Washington area native and past member of Chevy Chase Methodist Church and its youth fellowship, died of lung cancer June 7, 2000, at her home in Arlington, Tex. Marcia was born in Washington and raised in Silver Spring, Waynesboro, Pa., and Chevy Chase. She graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and studied accounting at the University of Maryland. As a young woman, she worked as an accountant for Perpetual Building Association in Chevy Chase. She later accompanied her husband, Richard F. Erickson, then an Air Force officer, on his military assignments. They settled in Texas in 1979, where she was a bank auditor from 1984 to 1998In addition to her husband, survivors include two children, Wayne A. Erickson and Wendi J. Eddleman, all of Arlington, Tex.; her parents, John L. and Dorothea E. Meininger of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Ronald E. Meininger of Gaithersburg; and a granddaughter
