| Marjorie Fowler Hill, age 72, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015, after a very long battle with cancer. With courage and grace, she has gone before us. Marge was born in Washington, DC. She graduated from B-CC and the University of Maryland. Her career started with GEICO Insurance, CNA insurance, NFIP, and concluded with Bankers/Fidelity Insurance. She lived in San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, and St Petersburg areas during her career. She was a member of DAR and enjoyed genealogy. She was also very active in her community, as a member and volunteer with the Pass-a-Grill Women's Club, Tour of Homes, Vina Neighborhood Association; Pop goes the Beach, and Gulf Beaches Museum. She especially enjoyed playing bridge and mah jongg with her family and friends- their love and support were a blessing to her. She is preceded in death by her father, George C jr; and sister Jean Forlong. She is survived by her mother, Gretchen; sister, Carolyn; brothers, George III & John (Patton); nieces, Heather Forlong (for whom she was guardian) & Maggie Fowler; and nephews, JT & Robert Fowler. |
