Remembrances of Bobby from some of his classmates:

During my high school years at B-CC, Bob Thomas was my neighbor across the Street on Norwood Drive. He was devoted to and cherished his family, friends, and even acquaintances. He never waivered in his kindness toward others. He was courageous and compassionate, and always made you feel good about yourself. Even when he was busy, he would always take the time to care and listen--and help, if he could. His is a strong, quiet, gentle, kind soul, who will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched and enriched, just by being himself.

Esther Levy-Blynn

I knew Bobby in grade school through high school. I knew him mostly from afar, but always enjoyed being around his energy and spirit. News of his sudden death very much saddened me, as I realized I was looking forward to seeing him again at our reunion.

I knew Bobby in high school. He was handsome, charming and funny. He was everybody's friend and everybody will miss him.

Bobby Thomas was one of the rightest guys who ever lived. I don't think I ever saw him when he wasn't smiling. He was an open and balanced person.
