Barbara Pendergrass Lowery
We are sorry to tell you that we just learned that classmate Barbara Penergrass Lowery recently passed away. We heard from her husband Don that she had suffered a heart attack. Barbara had been a missing classmate for a very long time. However, we did find her shortly before the 45th Reunion, and she and Don attended. Below is a copy her obituary, her B-CC senior yearbook photo and a more recent photo:
Mrs. Barbara Lowery, 69, of Kingsport TN, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Indian Path Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1943 in Washington D.C. Barbara was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and was involved with the Red Hat Society. She was an avid painter and loved her dogs, Lulu and Yogi.
She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Lowery; daughter, Trish Morrison; three stepchildren, Kevin Lowery and wife, Donna, Renee Heard and husband, Alan, and Genena Williamson and husband, Joe; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
