From the Athens Georgia Banner Herald: C. Bruce MacArthur, age 68, passed away on March 5, 2012. Capt. MacArthur graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, Md., Gettysburg College, PA, and George Wash. U. He served as the Executive Officer of the Navy Supply Corps School from 1983-1985. Bruce was preceded in death by his brother, Brian MacArthur and his father Chester W. MacArthur. He is survived by his Mother, Arline MacArthur (Salisbury, MD), and by his five children: Leslie M. Wright (Winston-Salem, NC), Heather M. Lynch (Parrish FL), Andrew MacArthur (Flemming Island, FL), Lindsay M. Porter, (Winterville, GA), Philip MacArthur (Winston-Salem, NC), and by 9 grandchildren.
