Cecil Ray Eldridge, 65, of Leesburg, VA, died July 21 at Inova Loudoun Hospital. He was born May 24, 1943, in Pennington Gap to Grady and Maurine Eldridge. He lived for 34 years in Loudoun County, and worked throughout the Metro D.C. area as a drywall specialist. From 1995 to 2000, he worked at the International School in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and for the American Embassy in Ethiopia. Cecil was also a regular patron at the Charles Town Race Track. Survivors include his daughters Cynthia Carey of Hopewell, Cathy Rosa of Leesburg, and Cecilia Strain of Gainesville; grandchildren Alexandra, Brandon, Cody and Jessica; and great-grandson Carter.
