Joan Marie Cannon, 74, a longtime resident of Anne Arundel County died on May 11, 2017, at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. She was born on October 25, 1942, to the late Louis and Mary Ricca.

Joan delighted in spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed eating out in restaurants, watching movies, and listening to music. John Denver was one of her favorite singers and she often had his music playing in her home.

Joan also had a great love and compassion for animals. Her home always had several pets, which she adored. She frequently made donations to many animal charities.

In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband Charles Cannon, her brother Louis Ricca, Jr., her sister Mary Ricca White, and her son Michael A. Vincent, Jr.

Joan is survived by her brother David Ricca, by her daughters Deborah Vincent Krick and Kimberly Sterling Brown. As well as her sons-in-law Bob Krick and Jim Brown. She is also survived by her five grandchildren Tyler Knapp, Colin Brown, Makenna Brown, Jack Krick, and Maggi Krick.
