50th Reunion Write-up from Jon Coulson Hur

(Nov 1942 - Sep 2018)

A summary of my last fifty years: University of Maryland English major; did some fiction writing while driving a taxi for 12 years in D.C.; became a home improvement contractor in Takoma Park, MD, where I lived for 30 years and raised my two daughters with my wife; lived and worked for several years in Key West after divorce in 2000. Spending my retirement in Sewickley PA, San Antonio, and Key West; grateful for my two loving daughters and three grandchildren. Started using the Bethesda Library while at B-CC and am still an avid reader--more history, math, politics, science than fiction these days. Definitely a loner in high school and probably still a bit of one today but much happier now than then.
