Patricia Lee Hardesty Tongue, age 77, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Main, Charlotte, NC, on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

Ms. Tongue was born on February 27, 1944, and is preceded in death by her parents, William Russell Hardesty and Dorothy Eileen Kidwell Hardesty, and sister Margaret Hardesty.

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda McCauley (Michael) of Lake Wylie, SC, and Kirsten Ray (Bryan) of Savannah, GA; three grandchildren, Amelia McCauley, Connor McCauley and Alex Ray; two nieces Sharon Wijnand and Laura Hawk, one nephew, Brian Lehnhard, and special friend, Ken Hayden of Lake Wylie, SC.

Her favorite pastimes included gardening, quilting, camping and music.
