Thomas E. Winslow,  died in a car crash on August 27, 1968 on Reno Rd N.W., D.C. He had been to an engagement party for a fellow Sigma Chi fraternity brother from Roanoke College. His car went off the road into a tree. He is buried at Gate of Heaven Cemetary in Section 7 Lot 803.
